🗣️ Finding Our Voices: A Day of Lively Debate! 💭✨

What a fantastic day of discussion! Our students took part in a dynamic debate session, stepping away from the textbooks to share their opinions, challenge perspectives, and explore the importance of respectful communication.

The highlight of the session was seeing the room transform into a space of active listening and critical thinking. The students tackled modern dilemmas that affect their daily lives, diving deep into two main topics:

The Digital Dilemma: Group Chats The students explored whether group chats cause more problems than they solve. There was plenty of insight into how "sides can be taken" in digital spaces, balanced against the "entertainment" and "multiple opinions" these groups provide. It was a brilliant look at how we navigate our online worlds.

The Social Etiquette: Last-Minute Plans The debate really heated up when discussing if it's okay to cancel plans last minute. Students showed great maturity, weighing up personal well-being and "unforeseen circumstances" against the importance of "respecting other people's time." The suggestion of a "48-hour notice" rule sparked a lot of great conversation!

It has been wonderful to see so many examples of growing confidence and teamwork throughout the day. Building these boundaries and learning how to speak up while listening to others is such a vital part of our students' development.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity and empathy shown by everyone involved. It was the perfect way to practice the art of communication together! 🌟💪
