This week in Music, pupils have been exploring primary and secondary chords, developing their understanding through 4-bar chord progressions and melodic composition. Through practical activities and experimentation, students have been building their confidence in how chords work together and how harmony can shape different musical ideas. Pupils have explored harmonising melodies using primary chords, while also practising a variety of strumming patterns and syncopated rhythms
