It has been a high-energy week in the Music department! Our students have been diving deep into the world of performance, focusing on the technical skills that bring music to life. The main focus this week was mastering chord progressions . Students worked specifically with A minor, E minor, and G major , practicing on both the keyboard and the guitar. This half term, pupils have been developing their keyboard skills , focusing on improving their ability to read notes on the stave and learning correct hand positioning . These foundations are helping to build confidence and accuracy as they progress in their playing. Some pupils have already begun learning well-known pieces such as Für Elise and Moonlight Sonata , while others have been exploring performances based on their own musical interests. This balance has allowed l
