This term in PSHE, students have been exploring the important topic of cybercrime, developing their understanding of how it can impact individuals and society.

This week, the focus has been on fraud, with students learning how to identify fraudulent activity and considering the serious consequences of both becoming a victim and being involved in it. Through a range of engaging activities, learners have begun to understand how online risks can affect their safety, identity and personal information.

Students took part in mind mapping tasks, group discussions and a continuum activity, where they explored behaviours ranging from serious crime to small lies. This helped them think more deeply about the differences between actions online and the potential impact they can have.

There have been some excellent reflective discussions, with students thoughtfully considering real-life scenarios and the wider consequences of fraud and cybercrime. It has been fantastic to see such maturity, awareness and engagement with a topic that is so relevant in today’s digital world.

A valuable and thought-provoking week helping our students stay safe and informed online. šŸ’»
