Creativity and Problem Solving in Engage

Yesterday's Engage session was packed with creativity, teamwork and hands-on learning as pupils explored a range of exciting activities.

One group challenged themselves to build impressive dens and large freestanding structures, working together to test ideas, solve problems and create designs that were both stable and imaginative. The activity encouraged communication, planning and resilience as pupils adapted their ideas throughout the session.

As autumn approaches, another group created beautiful stained glass leaf decorations using colourful translucent materials. The finished artwork will brighten our classrooms while helping pupils explore colour, pattern and seasonal changes through creative expression.

We also explored shape, symmetry and design using magnetic tiles. Pupils experimented with different geometric shapes before creating their own colourful designs and challenging themselves to recreate increasingly complex patterns.

It was fantastic to see everyone engaged, supporting one another and developing creativity, problem solving and teamwork through practical activities.
