Assessment Week Complete at Lord Gowthorpe’s

This week marked an important milestone for six of our students as they completed practice iGCSE examinations in our dedicated exam centre.

Taking formal examinations can be a significant challenge, particularly for young people with additional needs. Throughout the week, our students demonstrated outstanding resilience, independence and determination, approaching each exam with maturity and giving their very best effort. We could not be prouder of what they have achieved.

Preparing students for examinations is about far more than academic knowledge. It is about building confidence, reducing anxiety and creating an environment where every young person feels safe, supported and able to achieve their potential. Watching our students rise to this challenge has been truly inspiring.

A special thank you goes to Elyse for expertly coordinating all of the exam logistics, ensuring the week ran smoothly, and to our dedicated teaching team for creating the supportive environment that gives our students the confidence to embrace new challenges.
