Back at the Farm! 🐐🌿

This week, pupils and staff at Lord Gowthorpe’s enjoyed their first visit back to the farm after the summer break!

It was great to be back, and everyone soon got stuck into the day’s activity, designing and creating obstacle courses for each other to complete. Pupils worked together to come up with different challenges before demonstrating exactly how their courses should be tackled.

Once the demonstrations were complete, it was the staff’s turn to have a go, which naturally brought plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition!

The goats weren’t going to miss out on the action either. They were very interested in the obstacle courses, with Brie eventually deciding that he was the ultimate winner of the day! 🐐🏆

Our visits to the farm give pupils the opportunity to learn outside the classroom while developing skills including teamwork, communication, creativity and confidence.

It was a brilliant first visit back after the summer, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
