🐎 BHS Accreditation Achieved! 🏆

After many months of dedication, planning and hard work, we are absolutely delighted to share that we have successfully passed our British Horse Society Accreditation and are now officially a BHS Approved Riding Centre. This is a significant milestone for our whole community and reflects the passion, professionalism and care that underpin everything we do.

During the inspection, the assessors were incredibly impressed by the consistently high standards of horse care across the centre, including the thoughtful therapeutic support provided to our horses, the quality of our facilities and the strong health and safety culture embedded throughout daily practice. Their feedback recognised not only the physical environment we have created, but also the calm, nurturing atmosphere that benefits both horses and riders alike.

A real highlight of the visit was the opportunity for inspectors to observe a lesson delivered by Lara to one of our superstar students. The session beautifully showcased the trusting relationships, skilled teaching and individualised support that define our approach. Most importantly, it demonstrated the student’s wonderful progress, confidence and enjoyment, which is exactly why we are so passionate about the work we do.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed to the recent developments at the farm. The improvements made have strengthened our stable management systems, increased efficiency and ensured the very best environment for both horses and students. Achieving BHS status has truly been a team effort, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.

A very special acknowledgement must go to Gorgi. Her determination, resilience and unwavering focus over the past year have been the driving force behind achieving this accreditation and enhancing the opportunities we can offer our students. Countless hours of effort, late nights and tireless commitment have brought us to this moment, and we could not be prouder of what she has accomplished.

Now, with this incredible achievement secured, we all hope Gorgi can finally take a well-earned rest and enjoy the final few days before welcoming her new arrival. It feels like the perfect way to celebrate such a meaningful success for both her and the entire centre.
