🌳 Fun at the Farm! 📸

What a fantastic week of outdoor adventures at Lord Gowthorpe's!

Our students have been making the most of our farm and outdoor spaces, taking part in team games, enjoying time together and developing friendships and communication skills along the way.

There was also a special photography challenge, encouraging pupils to get creative and see their surroundings from a different perspective.

Armed with cameras and plenty of imagination, students were challenged to capture five things:

📸 Movement

🌸 Unexpected beauty

🔍 Close-up textures

🔁 Repeating patterns

🪞 A reflection

From colourful flowers and interesting textures to action shots and creative angles, our budding photographers discovered that there's plenty of beauty to be found when you take the time to look!

And, of course, there was still time for some giant Jenga, playground fun and a few competitive team games! 😂

Beyond all the fun, it's been lovely to see students building friendships, communicating with one another and growing in confidence through shared experiences.

Sometimes the best learning happens outside the classroom! 💙
